Who we are

Juris Matrix Solicitors Limited (“we”, “us”, “Juris Matrix”) is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. We can be contacted at 20 Loampit Hill, Lewisham, London, England. SE13 7SW, by email at info@jurismatrix.co.uk or jurismatrixsolicitors@gmail.com, or by phone on 020 7998 8910.

The personal data we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our Free Consultation form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and any message you choose to add.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss the legal services you have requested.
  • To contact you about your enquiry, by phone, email or post, where you have asked us to.
  • To comply with our legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

Our lawful basis for processing this data is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. If you go on to instruct us, we will process further personal data on the basis of the contract between us, in line with our professional obligations as a firm of solicitors.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. To operate this website on shared hosting without a server-side database, enquiry details are processed by trusted third-party services acting on our behalf, solely to deliver your message to us: a Google Sheet (via Google Apps Script) used as our enquiry record, and EmailJS, used to send email notifications. These providers process data under their own privacy and security terms and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a client, for the period required by our professional and regulatory obligations. Where an enquiry does not proceed further, we retain the record for a limited period for administrative purposes before it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing of your data.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@jurismatrix.co.uk or jurismatrixsolicitors@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

This policy is a general template appropriate for a small law firm's marketing website and should be reviewed by a solicitor with data protection expertise before publishing, to ensure it fully reflects Juris Matrix's actual data-handling practices and its obligations as an SRA-regulated firm.
